Dr Arabella Wallett is a specialist dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Wallett was born and raised in Adelaide. She trained in medicine at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, Western Australia and returned to Adelaide to begin her internship. Before starting dermatology training, Dr Wallett worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital where she completed her Diploma of Child Health. Following this, she undertook training within the dermatology departments of the major teaching hospitals in Adelaide.
As well as consulting from her private rooms, Dr Wallett is the Head of Dermatology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is a visiting medical specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she participates in a multi-disciplinary vulval clinic. Dr Wallett is involved in the training and supervision of medical students and accredited dermatology trainees. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. Her interests include women-specific presentations, paediatrics, acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin manifestations of connective tissue disease and skin cancer management.
