01/02/2021Quality Manager – Sharon Bouhous
Providing high quality patient care is a hallmark of our service here at Adelaide Surgicentre, which is why in February 2021 we welcomed Sharon Bouhous to join the practice as our Quality Manager. Sharon has worked in the health service for over 30 yrs. During this time she attained a Diploma in Management and has over 25yrs Quality Management experience, having previously managed a Private Day Hospital in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Her expertise includes implementing and maintaining Accreditation process measures to ensure compliance with the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) established by the Australian Commission on Safety & Quality in Healthcare. Sharon ensures our quality system is used to continually improve our service delivery through internally auditing our processes, reviewing patient feedback and coordinating staff training in conjunction with the Nurse Manager. Our quality system is integral in supporting our staff to deliver timely, appropriate and tailored care which is underpinned by a robust clinical governance framework.
